 
activities. When not at school Jeff's summers were spent
surfing in Hawaii, playing Goalkeeper on a US select Soccer team in
Ireland, or living in Oregon along the Columbia River Gorge.
It was here Jeff met his worst of influences; well not
really. Living in the small town of Hood River, which is in the Gorge,
Jeff lived with a world champion sailboarder, and a seven time world
champion snowboarder. The days spent at this house were like something
you would read about in a book or an adventure magazine. A typical day
was comprised of waking up early to go snowboarding up on Mt Hood, only
to be followed by an afternoon of mountain biking, kayaking, climbing
and Ice Blocking. The goal was always to see how many sports could be
done in a day. After that, they would jump in a car and head south to
spend the night car camping so they could be on the first load of the
day, freefalling, and flying like the birds, to start yet another day
of fun.
One day while climbing at Smith Rocks, one of Jeff's friends
fell while climbing. It was at that moment his life and career
